The primary purpose of this position is to provide technical and administrative support in the processing of Human Resources and Payroll information for WVU. The position requires basic knowledge of payroll concepts and procedures, basic tax knowledge and ability to grasp various levels of human resources functions. This position calls for basic decision making within established procedures as well as the ability to function independently and self—supervise whenever necessary. In addition, the incumbent must be capable of maintaining the strictest level of confidentiality regarding sensitive human resources and payroll issues at all times.
