West Virginia University College of Education and Human Services (CEHS) is currently seeking a College Recruitment Specialist. The Recruitment Specialist will be responsible for developing, implementing and coordinating recruitment activities within the College and at external events. The Recruitment Specialist will also be responsible for streamlining and implementing the communication processes for student prospects, and developing future plans for recruitment outreach based upon data and market analysis. The goals for this position are to increase enrollment and admissions by 10% in the next three years, particularly out-of-state enrollment, diversify student enrollment, and increase high ability student enrollment.
The Recruiter will report to the Assistant Dean for Student Services and collaborate with the Director of Marketing and Communications, The Coordinator of Alumni and Events, program coordinators in CEHS, WVU Undergraduate and Graduate Recruitment, and Academic Innovation.
A Bachelor’s Degree is required, Master’s preferred; preferred specialized areas include Education, Communications or related fields. At least 2 or more years of experience working with academic programs in higher education, developing strategies for successful student recruitment, strategic planning, and working with online interactions and social media are also required. The successful candidate must attend after hours and weekend recruitment events at venues inside and outside of West Virginia. Driver’s License required.
