West Virginia University Office of Information Technology is seeking an Application Administrator.  This position will serve as an application administrator for enterprise and departmental applications; provide user support for applications and services; and work with departments to document and define business needs and then assist in the implementation as needed. This position will also develop and present hands-on technical workshops, seminar presentations, and online webinars on a wide variety of information technology topics; research new applications and functionality within existing applications; and participate in projects as needed. 

A Bachelor’s Degree in a computer science or a related field is required.  An equivalent combination of higher education, work experience in related areas, and/or applicable certifications, in any combination, may be substituted in lieu of the degree requirement. Applicants should have 2 years of experience in application documentation development and technical training development and presentation.

Technical qualifications include: application administration and support for SharePoint 2013; experience administering enterprise applications; end user support experience; ability to adapt business requirements into technical requirements; technical documentation development; web form creation and management; experience using scripting languages; and office development tools such as Microsoft Office and Visio.
