Administrative Technology Solutions (ATS) at West Virginia University is seeking a talented (Application Developer) – Professional Technologist I.86 (two positions available).  The incumbent will effectively utilize technical/application analytical skills to research, design, development, and testing to successfully complete tasks in support of ATS projects.  This position will work under the direction and supervision of senior technical resources to develop expertise within the technical areas they are assigned.

You will be a part of a team responsible for continuing to improve, extend, and modernize the enterprise applications supporting WVU.  This is an opportunity to work with and develop your knowledge of industry leading tools like the Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Addition (OBIEE), Oracle SOA Suite, and Primavera Unifier to name a few.  The successful candidate will prepare technical documentation, including interpretation of business requirements, business process flows, and code according to established standards.

The ideal candidate must possess Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from a regionally accredited institution or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Programming experience utilizing pl/sql and java is preferred.
