The Director of Enterprise Application Support within the Office of Information Technology will provide the leadership and vision to create, implement and manage the strategic direction for enterprise applications. This position will report to the Executive Director for the Office of Information Technology and will work extensively with the user community to maintain the highest level of service and satisfaction. The Director will collect feedback on user needs, potential use-case scenarios, and user priorities to be integrated in the future direction for enterprise applications. The incumbent will implement tactical plans to best serve user needs while improving efficiency and customer satisfaction. The Director will also serve as liaison to Administrative Technology Services and Student Systems management as well as distributed campus IT units, faculty, staff, and administrative groups through proactive engagement. This position will oversee and assure the success of projects that reinvent the processes and standards used to repeatedly produce substantial improvements in application reliability, efficiency, and customer service. The Director will utilize multiple communications methods to reach all components of the user community and for situations ranging from routine to crisis communications.  This position will work closely with other information technology units and peers at other institutions.

The ideal candidate must possess a Bachelor of Science degree in a related field.  A MS degree or MBA degree is preferred.  Additional training in Information Technology Information Library (ITIL) or similar certifications are also preferred.  The position requires eight (8) to ten (10) years of experience in enterprise computing in progressively responsible positions.  The incumbent must have five (5) years in progressive management and/or leadership experience.
