This position will be responsible for leading Quality Assurance, Testing, and Validation Initiatives for WVU’s administrative enterprise systems. The Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible the introduction of test automation, as well as the use of vendor tools (such as QTP and LoadRunner) and internally developed tools for testing and validation. The manager will work with IT and Business Users to define libraries of Business Process Test Cases and will also develop testing procedures and documentation including success criteria, failure impact, and performance information. The successful candidate will have supervisory responsibilities including recruitment, mentoring, and performance management.
The position requires a Bachelor of Science degree and five (5) years of progressive leadership and managerial experience in an Enterprise Application Role; (5) years of supervision of Technical and Analytic Professionals; and five (5) years of experience with Automation Software packages for running test cases, loading data, or stress testing. Experience requirements may be concurrent.
WVU’s Administrative Technology Solutions supports applications such as Oracle E-Business Financials and HR, OBIEE, and Unifier. Candidates should have experiences such as writing test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts; utilizing automated testing, load testing, stress testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT); and communicating effectively with developers, business analysts, business customers, and end users.First consideration will be given to applications received by December 23, 2013.
