West Virginia University is seeking candidates for the position of Associate Registrar for Academic Services. This position is an integral part of the leadership team in the Office of the University Registrar. Under the direction of the University Registrar, this position will oversee key operations such as athletic certification, catalog production and degree audit. The selected candidate will also lead a team of six staff members.

The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Liberal Arts or related field from a regionally accredited institution. A Master’s degree in Higher Education or College Student Personnel is strongly preferred. The candidate will possess five years of experience working in a Registrar’s office or related student services unit; one year experience developing academic documents or publications, and experience with the principles of performing a degree audit is required. Experience working with student information systems and automated degree audit systems is strongly preferred. An understanding of and experience with athletic academic certification as required by the NCAA is preferred. Banner and Degree Works experience are also strongly preferred.
