West Virginia University is seeking a Senior Compensation Specialist to provide a lead role in the development, administration, organization and maintenance of pay policies and programs for classified, non-classified and other non-faculty employees.   Provides consultation and support to internal clients and actively participates in and implements compensation related projects.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in human resources, business administration, industrial relations or closely related field. No substitution or equivalency for the bachelor’s degree are accepted. A master’s degree in industrial/labor relations, human resources, public administration or another directly related field is preferred. Four years of progressively responsible experience in compensation administration is also required.
