West Virginia University is seeking applicants for a Construction Manager in Facilities Management. This position provides overall management, design, direction, and control of renovation and new construction projects. The Construction Project Manager serves as WVU’s representative throughout the design and construction of improvement projects.
Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or a related field and at least four years of experience in planning, design, and construction. Four years of experience completely designing varying construction and renovation projects in the commercial or educational climate is also required. This includes computerized drawing, as built documentation, and communicating designs successfully to the contractor who will build out projects. Experience in the planning, design, and construction of large capital construction may be considered equivalent to educational requirements. A valid driver’s license is required. The targeted salary range is $45-55K.
