West Virginia University is seeking a two motivated professionals interested in a career as Payment Manager. The successful candidates will manage the activities of the Payment Services unit in daily operations, providing guidance and direction to ensure compliance with all applicable rules, regulations, and policies of the State of West Virginia, the WVU Research Corp., or any other entity that may govern. The incumbents will be responsible for developing and implementing policies, process improvements, and payment strategies. The successful candidates will also be responsible for the management of various card programs, invoice auditing functions and the Oracle Accounts Payable module among other duties and responsibilities.


A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or other closely related field is required to be considered for this position.  A master’s degree or advanced continuing education is strongly desirable. The successful candidates must also have four years of experience managing an accounts payable function. Experience managing a procurement card program is preferred.
