Programs and Initiatives

West Virginia University Talent Strategy has a range of programs and initiatives to facilitate the employment process. We are dedicated to hiring people from all backgrounds and experiences – there is a place for everyone at WVU. 

Our programs and initiatives include:  

  • Dual Career – designed to help a trailing spouse/partner find employment in Morgantown and the surrounding area 
  • Mountaineer Temps – a temporary employment program 
  • Diversity Outreach and Initiatives – partner with community organizations across the state to educate on employment opportunities with the University 
  • Records Management – managing personnel files  
  • WVUHire - technical support for employees and applicants using the WVUHire portal; for assistance, contact 304.293.HIRE (4473)
