Administrative Technology Solutions (ATS) at West Virginia University is seeking a talented Senior Oracle Solutions Manager (Professional Technologist 5.34). Under the leadership of the Director of Application Services, this position will lead a high-quality team of business analysts, developers, trainers, and operational personnel in the analysis of business processes and the development of business solutions. The incumbent will also utilize technical/application skills within functional/project areas and with stakeholders to critically identify and communicate opportunities for business process optimization. This position will lead efforts to analyze requirements against industry best practices in order to design and implement enterprise-level solutions that meet business needs and align with WVU’s strategic and technical vision. The successful candidate will also lead workshops, develop use case surveys, business process descriptions, and task analysis to evaluate the information gathered for responsible projects.
The ideal candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Management, Finance, Engineering, Science or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred. The position requires six (6) years of experience in information technology supporting enterprise business applications. The incumbent must have six (6) years of hands-on technical management and oversight of the technology and tools comprising the Oracle E-Business suite; PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Workflow, BI Publisher, and ADF/OAF frameworks. The position also requires three (3) years of experience providing technical leadership and strategy to technical, functional, and business teams in the design, development, and deployment of enterprise business solutions. In addition, supervision and hands on mentoring of functional, technical, and analytic professionals is required.
